National Cadet Corp (Girls)

NCC - The Girls Unit

The PRCS National Cadet Corps (Girls) unit was set up in 2000. To date there is a total strength of 65 cadets consisting of students from Secondary 1 to 5. NCC (Girls) aims to uphold the seven core values of the NCC and remains committed to developing cadets with these values: Loyalty to Country, Uprightness, Leadership, Discipline, Commitment and Responsibility, Care for Fellow Cadets and Adventurous Spirit. This is done through a myriad of activities geared towards building up certain qualities at different stages, such as courses (SANA Course, Civil Defence Course), camps ( Camp FEAST Specialists Course), drills, precision drills, physical trainings and competitions. The cadets are also given exposure to national events such as representing the school during Singapore Youth Festival Opening Ceremony and National Day Parade.
