SYF Central Judging Competition 2005 - SILVER!

Crest Voices is the choir of Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School . Since its inception in 2001, it has lent its melodious voices at major school and zonal events such as Voices in Harmony 2001 and the school's Official Opening in 2002. Today, Crest Voices is an STAB choir of about 95 members under the baton of Ms Joey Lye. The teachers-in-charge are Mdm Peh Siew Hoon, Mrs Stella Tan and Ms Zaidah Ibrahim.

The first of its proud moments was when it clinched a Bronze Award at the biennial Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Central of Choirs in 2001 and subsequently the Silver Award in 2003.

2004 was yet another eventful year for the choir. Besides participating in the public concert held at Victoria Concert Hall, the choir was also selected to be part of the National Day Parade Combined Schools Choir.

This year, besides performing for our CCA Open House in January and our Speech and Prize Giving Day, we have also clinched the Silver Award at the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Central of Choirs 2005. We have also been invited to perform at the Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC 40 th National Day Dinner Celebration in August.

Crest Voices looks forward to scaling new heights in our choral journey.
