The PRCS Boys' & Girls' Brigade Unit

This year the 11 new cadets joined the Boys’ Brigade (BB) and 6 joined the Girls’ Brigade (GB). Although the intake was small, the pupils enjoyed the cosy company of a relatively squad. Accompanying them are at least 2 new officers who joined the boys and girls for the CCA activities. As BB and GB activities are both held on Saturday mornings 8 – 1130am, the pupils have the privilege of having a quiet and conducive environment.

Example of activities held this year include boys’ and girls’ brigade combined camps (in June and December), enrolment service for new cadets (in 2007 & 2008), guitar lessons, combined drill practices, games, study group time and Christian education lessons. The boys’ brigade cadets also visited the Orange Valley Nursing Home (an old folks’ home) and the girls’ brigade cadets attended fabric design lessons.
